The Insider
Insider Films is Helena Wechter.
Raised in Germany, Helena was drawn to South Africa for its resplendent beauty and quality of life. She feels lucky to call Cape Town home, where she lives with her Cinematographer husband (”local is lekker”! – as they say).
Known by many as a powerhouse producer, it stems from her genuine love for the business, and it shows – with her seemingly indefatigable energy and tireless enthusiasm. She thinks fast and she thinks smart, fastidiously meticulous with work. Helena, cool-headed and always with a ready smile, is the epitome of a consummate professional.
